Change in Employer Reporting Method as of September 1, 2025
Attention Employers!
Do you employ:
- a citizen of an EU member state,
- their family member,
- a family member of a Slovak citizen,
- or a third-country national?
Starting September 1, 2025, an amendment to Act No. 5/2004 Coll. on Employment Services will take effect, introducing a change in the method of reporting the employment of selected groups of persons.
Reporting will be possible exclusively electronically via the form of the Central Office of Labour, Social Affairs and Family. The submitted document must be signed with a qualified electronic signature.
From September 1, 2025, it will no longer be possible to deliver the information card by post or in person.
